In 1999 Sinhron Invest
OOD established the World Wines OOD company,
having production of grapevines and creation of new vineyards
as its subject of activity. Until present World
Wines OOD has created 2500 decares (250 hectares)
of vineyards, of which 2000 decares (200 hectares) in
Northern Bulgaria – Dunavska plain in the region of Pleven
town (Kayluka locality) and 500 decares (50 hectares)
in Southern Bulgaria – Trakiiska lowland, in the vicinity
of Septemvri town (Maritza River Valley). The vineyards
were planted using French vine planting materials of the
Merlot (45 hectares), Cabernet Sauvignon (68 hectares),
Pinot Noir (2 hectares), Chardonnay (50 hectares), Muscat
Ottone (20 hectaresl), Traminer (15 hectares), Sauvignon
Blanc (11 hectares), Rheinriesling ( 10 hectares) varieties,
as well as traditional Bulgarian varieties, such as Mavrud
(3 hectares), Gamza (15 hectares) (Kadarka), Tamyanka
(2 hectares), Misket ( 6 hectares) , Bouquet (3 hectares). |
• The wine quantities we
have currently in stock are : 100 000 bottles of Cabernet
Sauvignon, 100 000 bottles of Merlot and 50 000 bottles
of Mavrud
• The wine
quantities we expect to have in stock after 1 December
2005 will be: 450 000 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, 250
000 bottles of Merlot, 70 000 |

• The wine quantities we expect to have in stock
after 1 December 2006 will be: 400 000 bottles of Merlot,
550 000 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, 70 000 bottles
of Mavrud, 20 000 bottles of Pinot Noir, 250 000 bottles
of Chardonnay, 120 000 bottles of Muscat Ottonel, 80 000
bottles of Traminer, 70 000 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc,
60 000 bottles of Rheinriesling, 30 000 bottles of Tamyanka
The wines we will produce
shall be of origin, |

controlled
in accordance with European requirements, from controlled
regions, applying controlled technology.
The
company policy is to produce top quality young wines and
quality vintage wines.

Wines OOD
have invested into the creation of new vineyards on an
area of 2500 decares (250 hectares) over Euro 7 mln.
At
the outset of 2005 Sinhron Invest OOD is expected to start
the construction of a new winery for production and ageing
of wines with a capacity of 3 mln. bottles/yr., valued
at about Euro 2 mln.
The
winery would be equipped with the most up-to-date wine
making technologies worldwide.
It is expected to be completed
in September 2005..
